The BMW Navigation system Professional features a 8.8 inch monitor and a 3D map display. Any traffic congestion is marked on the map so that the driver is always up to date when the navigation system suggests an alternate route. The integrated hard drive stores all your maps, address, contacts and, most importantly, music. Using the optional USB connection or the DVD drive you can add around 100 music CDs as MP3 flies to the hard drive.

Bluetooth interface for the BMW 3 Series Sedan.

The optional Bluetooth interface provides a wireless connection between the vehicle and Bluetooth-compatible mobile phones. The phones are operated via the hands-free kit, multifunction steering wheel, iDrive Controller or Voice Control depending on the equipment options of the individual vehicle. How do you navigate through a library of 10,000 songs? Preferably on the road using the multifunction steering wheel or iDrive button. Almost all common MP3 players, USB sticks and iPods can be integrated effortlessly with the audio system. The title of the track being played is displayed either in iDrive or on the radio display. The internal hard drive operated via a USB 2.0 interface is integrated in the glove compartment and players and iPhones can be operated directly using the USB connection in the central console.
