In the future, BMW vehicles will be able to communicate with one another using data collected by systems such as rain sensors, ABS and temperature gauges. These data can provide insights on current road or weather conditions, then be relayed to others. For example, a sensor reports windscreen wiper activity and reduced speed; slippery conditions can thus be inferred. In turn, the "Slippery Conditions Warning" can be provided to other vehicles.
